I am always so surprised at how fast time flies in the new year. It is March already! The Christmas and New Year’s festivities are long over. We have now settled into our winter routines. I have thoroughly enjoyed exploring the church theme of “I Will Build” spoken by Jesus himself. In January, we explored how “a healthy church is built by Christ, on Christ.” In February, we explored how “a healthy church is built one life at a time. Happy February Tabernacle Baptist Church family and extended family.

 

Last month we looked at the overall theme and verse for Tabernacle Baptist Church in 2019: “I Will Build,” taken from Matthew 16:18, “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” We noted  that this verse is referring to the greater body of believers primarily, and not a specific church building. Happy 2019 Tabernacle Baptist Church, what an eventful 2018 it has been! I never could have imagined the adjustments we would be facing, yet here we are; continuing full speed for our Lord through the end of 2018 and now looking ahead to what God will do in 2019.
